Climate

Overall, Metropolitan France enjoys a temperate climate. The weather is often mild but there are big differences between the seasons and regions. In the spring, from March to May, the weather is pleasant. There is mild temperature and sunshine to offset the frequent precipitation. In the summer, from June to September, it may be hot, especially in the South, but it rarely gets above 35 degrees Celsius.

From October to December, there are some beautiful days in the autumn, but it is often damp. Without being particularly hard, the winters are cold. Snow sometimes comes on the heels of rain and the temperature can dip into the negatives, especially in the mountains. Along the Atlantic seaboard,in the West of France, there is an oceanic climate. Temperature differences are moderate and the winters are mild but damp. It rains relatively frequently. In the South, the climate is Mediterranean. Summers are hot and winters mild and dry. The autumn often brings thunderstorms and heavy rain that can lead to flooding.

Requirements to study

All academic and travel documents, including mark sheet and certificates/ degree from class X onwards to date.

Qualify minimum English language proficiency requirement (IELTS)

For MBA admission a good score in GMAT is required.

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Prove sufficient funds for airfare, course fee and accommodation costs
  • Health and character certificate requirement

For non-European students, you might be asked to provide additional documents such as your birth certificate, financial support proof for your studies.

Cost of education

Depending on the type course, qualification and university opted; tuition fee will range approximately, around €1500 to 7000 EUR/Year.

Cost of living

Estimated living expenses is minimum of €8,000 per year

Scholarships

There are three main 3 different categories of scholarships in France for international students. These scholarships vary in scholarship benefits, eligibility, duration, selection procedure and are available for a mixture of different educational courses for undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They are French Government Scholarships, Institutional Scholarships and Co-financed or Joint Scholarships.

There are two main Intakes in France for the international students, January and September, both of them are equally important for both students and universities for France.
