Why USA?

America is a Premier destination for international students owing to its strong economy, vibrant campus life and the variety, flexibility and quality academic options it offers. From fabulous cities to beautiful natural parks, you are sure to have a spell bound life in the US. The benefits of studying in the USA are multi-fold. However, here are a few reasons to convince you that you have made the right decision to study in the USA. You will acquire a world-class educational qualification. Wide variety of research centric science and technology courses are offered in USA and most of them are job oriented management courses. Scholarships and fellowships offered by institutions and the American government. An American degree is highly valued by many employers around the world.

Climate

The USA has varied weather conditions. It is divided into seven main regions; New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southern, Midwest, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, and Pacific Coastal region, each with its distinguishable climate and weather patterns. The general climate of the country is moderate. However, the southern part of the country tends to have a more moderate temperature than the north. Spring is from March to May and autumn is from September to November are generally cooler months and a more comfortable time to visit. The summers is from June to August are regarded as hot seasons, winter is from December to February. The Pacific Coastal region, i.e. California, Oregon and Washington, has an oceanic climate, and generally freezing winters. The Rocky Mountains (Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Nevada), has a semi-arid climate and faces the driest weather conditions.

Requirements to study

All academic and travel documents, including mark sheet and certificates/ degree from class X onwards to date.

Qualify minimum English language proficiency requirement. Minimum language proficiency requirement for Diploma/UG/PG Courses: IELTS: Overall 5.5 to 6.5 respectively. TOEFL between 80-100.

For MBA admission a good score in GMAT is required.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is required for admission in to bachelor level courses. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) – For entry in to Graduate Programs.

  • Prove sufficient funds for airfare, course fee and accommodation costs

Health and character certificate requirement.

Cost of education

Depending on the type course, qualification and university opted; tuition fee will range approximately around $15,000 to $55,000 (USD) annually.

Cost of living

Estimated living expenses per year – $10,000-$16,000

Scholarships

Education in the United States is expensive and many international students seek scholarships to manage their overall budgets. Scholarships are primarily based on academic ability and merit. There are two types of scholarship. (Merit based and Need Based). Full – Full scholarships pay student’s entire expense tuition fee, accommodation, and stationary. Partial – This scholarship partially funds the student, i.e., it only pays tuition fees.

Intakes

There are two prominent intakes in the USA, Fall and Spring. The fall intake begins in September; most of the courses are available and the most preferred intake among the international students. Spring or Winter Intake starts in January, and it provides a few courses. However, Universities in USA also have summer intakes usually starts around May is limited to specific courses.

Work rights, Stayback & PR

Authorization to work 20 hours per week (Only on Campus). International students holding F1 visa can stay for 1 year after completion of studies and go for temporary employment directly.
